ANNUAL TESTING OF 406 MHz SATELLITE EPIRBs
The annual testing of 406 MHz satellite EPIRBs is required by  SOLAS regulation IV/l 5.9 enterrd into force on 1 July 2002. With effect from 1 July 2002 a number of amendments to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) came into force concerning the annual testing of satellite Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs). Changes to SOLAS Chapter IV Regulation 15 entered into force through Resolution MSC.152(78) on 1 July 2006. We carry out the required Annual Testings and provide certification to the effect.

ANNUAL TESTING OF SEARCH AND RESCUE RADAR TRANSPONDER (SART)
SART's need to be regularly tested like EPIRB's and serviced if required. POLAR Group offers test of all SART models and certified annual test of represented brands.
