APT OF VDR/SVDR

SOLAS regulation V/20 specifies annual performance test of VDR shall be carried out by the manufacturer or a person authorized by the manufacturer and POLAR Group is capable of executing annual test of voyage data recorder on behalf of various classification societies and manufacturers represented.


                                                                                                                           





Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) is a so-called black box which complies with IMO. It collects data from the sensors on board the vessel and stores it in an externally mounted Crash Survivable Module (CSM).
